Can't reformat HDD VIA livedisk
I have a hard drive I'm trying to reformat (because it's been locked,
along with its bios) and am encountering some problems with the disk
utility and gparted in ubuntu 10.04 livedisk. Whenever I try and format
the drive it shows me this error message:
"Error creating partition table: helper exited with exit code 1: Error
calling fsync(2) on /dev/sda: Input/output error"
I don't have any external stuff I can boot from right now but if it will
help I'll get someone to let me borrow one. Please help me out!
